Cookie Policy

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help with proper website functionality, security, and performance measurement.

2. Types of cookies used

  • Strictly necessary: required for navigation, security, and core functionality.
  • Analytics (optional): help us understand usage and improve user experience.
  • Marketing (optional): used only if remarketing campaigns are enabled and only with consent.

On your first visit, the site follows your browser’s primary language: Romanian, French, or English for other languages. A manual choice is saved in your browser’s local storage until you change it or clear site data. Links specifying Romanian or French keep their language. This selection does not use your geographical location.

3. Legal basis

  • Necessary cookies: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • Analytics/marketing cookies: consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

4. Retention period

Cookies can be session-based (deleted when the browser closes) or persistent (up to 13 months where applicable).

5. How to manage your consent

  • You can accept or decline cookies via the website banner.
  • You can delete cookies anytime from your browser settings.
  • Declining optional cookies does not affect essential website functionality.

6. Third-party cookies

We use the third-party services listed below. None of them load before you explicitly accept via the banner: if you decline or ignore the banner, your browser sends them no request at all.

  • Microsoft Clarity — provider: Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited. Purpose: usage statistics, heatmaps and session replay (mouse movement, clicks, scrolling). Text typed into forms is masked by default.
  • Google Analytics 4 — provider: Google Ireland Limited. Purpose: audience measurement — visit counts, traffic sources, pages viewed, device type.
  • Google Tag Manager — provider: Google Ireland Limited. It is the mechanism that loads the tags above; it does not itself set measurement cookies.

Transfers outside the EU: both providers belong to groups whose parent company is established in the United States. Transfers take place under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and/or the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

Each provider processes data under its own policy: Microsoft and Google.

We currently use no marketing or remarketing cookies. This page will be updated when changes occur.
